May 20, 2009: Dough Raiser planned to benefit FM Crew!
The Crewsters have scheduled a Dough Raising event at the UNO Chicago Grill on Sunday June 7 at the Towne Drive location in Fayetteville from 5:00-9:00pm.
UNO will donate up to 20% of each check to the FM Crewsters. All Crewster families and friends are welcome. Each check must be accompanied by an UNO Dough Raising coupon. Coupons have been handed out to all athletes. They can also be down loaded and printed as needed, click here.

May 10, 2009: NYSSRA State Championships
Battling fierce weather conditions, the FM Crew team placed teams in 4 final events at the NYS Scholastic Rowing Association Championship regatta on Fish Creek, Saratoga Springs. Held on Saturday May 9 and Sunday May 10, the regatta came to a end early Sunday afternoon when high winds made it impossible to continue racing. Events that could not complete their final competitions relied on semi-final and heat race results held previously on Sunday or Saturday for medal awards. May 3, 2009: Section III Championships

March 28, 2009: Season kick off Pasta Dinner!
Family and friends, coaches and crew mates enjoyed dinner, desserts, raffles, and awards from the March 7 Erg-a-thon at this years pasta dinner held in the FMHS cafeteria.
The coaching staff provided an enthusiastic outlook for the up coming season. The exceptionally warm spring weather has allowed the team to begin practice on the water earlier than any prior season. Coupled with the winter training held at the Limestone Plaza "Erg Center" the early water sessions should prepare the teams well for the coming April races.
The FM Crewster volunteers were on hand to announce a Wine Tasting fund-raising event and solicit new volunteers to lend a hand at regatta's. Please contact any FM Crewster board member if you can volunteer to help.
March 7, 2009: Successful 2nd Annual Erg-A-Thon
This morning's 2nd Annual event went very well! Thank you very much to everyone who helped make it happen! 18 erg machines were being used at all times as our athletes as well as some courageous walk-ons, showed strength and stamina.
Fresh oranges, strawberries, grapes and bananas along with bagels and toppings were enjoyed by all.
We will be announcing our winners of several categories during the 2009 Season Kick-off Pasta Dinner on Saturday, March 29th.
Our goal of raising $6000 is nearly achieved! If you would like to help us reach that goal, mail your tax-deductible contribution to FM Crewsters, Inc. PO BOX 351 Manlius 13104.
March 1, 2009: 2009 Spring Informational Meeting
There will be a mandatory meeting for ALL athletes interested in participating in the Spring 2009 rowing season Wed, March 4 at the high school in the Science Lecture Hall. Please help spread the word. Topics will include practice times, regatta schedule and other season/program information.

February 11, 2009: Novice Parent Meeting Announced
An information meeting for all Novice Parents has been scheduled for Thursday, February 26 at 5:45p. The meeting will be held at the Manlius Library in the Community room. Details about the coming season and tips about attending the regattas will be shared. Novice parents can email Wendy Lee with any questions prior to the meeting.
